Airport
Inframerica took over the management of Brasília Airport in 2012, following the federal government's first round of airport concessions. At that time, the consortium began the first major renovation and expansion works at the airport. The construction of the North and South piers of the terminal began, ensuring an increase in the number of boarding gates and an expansion of the usable area.
The improvements and main structures of this phase were delivered in May 2014, after 18 months of uninterrupted construction without suspending terminal operations.
Brasília Airport has established itself as the 3rd largest in Brazil in passenger traffic and the largest domestic hub in the country.
Runway capacity has increased and is now the largest in the country, capable of operating more than one flight per minute. In addition, it is the only airport in South America to operate simultaneous independent parallel runways, meaning that only at Brasília Airport can planes land and take off at the same time on both runways.
Growth wasn't just structural. Services improved, and commercial options increased and diversified. The airport has become an example of modernity and operational efficiency.
With continuous investments in technology and safety, Inframerica aims to further enhance everyone's experience.
