The Brasília and Region Convention & Visitors Bureau (BRCVB) is a foundation, known as Fundação 21 de Abril, a private non-profit entity whose goal is to promote economic and social development in the Federal District through the enhancement of tourism, with a primary focus on the business and events segment.

How do we operate?

Events generate numerous benefits and stimulate the economy of the locations where they occur. Based on the opportunities created by this sector, BRCVB works directly or indirectly in the recruitment of national and international events, offering institutional and technical support to promoting entities.

In this recruitment process, BRCVB performs the following actions:

​

• Conducting research on potential events through access to databases from national class entities, universities, associations, political organizations, other convention bureaux, and the tourism trade as a whole.

• Creating promotional and informational printed materials about the destination (recruitment booklets, brochures, maps).

• Developing a digital project that includes a promotional video, official image bank, and all necessary information about the destination for the recruitment of the event in question.

• Coordinating with governmental and private entities, including requesting letters of support.

• Promoting tourism trade companies to event organizers.

• Conducting technical visits, guiding event organizers to event spaces, hotels, and other service providers relevant to the event.

• Providing other types of support as needed, provided it aligns with the Foundation's objectives and conditions.
